TO THE MAMA THAT IS DEVASTATED BY THE AFTERMATH OF CHILD LOSS,

TO THE MAMA WHO STRUGGLES TO “KEEP IT TOGETHER” AND WHO IS FOREVER CHANGED- 

 

I SEE YOU. 

 

 

TO THE DAD WHO FEELS LIKE HES DROWNING FROM BEING THE SHOULDERS OF HIS FAMILY, FROM PUTTING THE GRIEF MASK ON WHILE WORKING OR WITH HIS FRIENDS, FROM THE HEARTACHE YOU FEEL-

 

I SEE YOU! 

TO THE PARENTS WHO FEEL THEIR HEART RIPPED OUT OF THEIR CHEST, AND FEEL THE BEATING ACTUALLY ACHE-

 

I SEE YOU. 

TO THE PARENTS WHO ARE OVERWHELMED BY THE GRIEF THEY FEEL WITHOUT THEIR CHILD-

 

I SEE YOU. 

TO THE DAD THAT STAYS UP LONG AFTER HIS FAMILY GOES TO BED, JUST TO BE ABLE TO CRY AND LET IT OUT,

 

I SEE YOU. 

 

 

TO THE MOMS AND DADS THAT ARE FOREVER CHANGED AND ALTERED. 

 

TO THE PARENTS THAT ARE IN AGONY. 

 

TO THE MOMS AND DADS THAT LONG FOR THEIR CHILD BACK IN THEIR ARMS,

 

I’M SO SORRY. 

 

I SEE YOU. 

 

JUST HANG ON. 

HOLD ON. 

AND BREATHE. 

 

BREATHE IN AND OUT. 

 

AND TAKE THIS MOMENT IN THE PRESENT. 

 

DONT GO BACK TO THE PAST WHERE THEY WERE. 

OR WHAT HAPPENED WHEN YOU FOUND THEM.

DONT GO TO THE FUTURE. 

BECAUSE ITS DAUNTING.
